About West Bank and Gaza
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the principal U.S. government agency that administers the United States’ foreign assistance program in the West Bank and Gaza. Building the institutions of a viable future Palestinian state is a core U.S. national security objective and the long-term focus of our programs. The USAID West Bank and Gaza (WBG) Mission is committed to supporting a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, leading to the emergence of two states living side-by-side in peace and security. USAID’s efforts help to build a more democratic, stable, and secure region benefiting Palestinians, Israelis, and Americans.
