Leskovac – On Tuesday, November 1, 2016, the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) organized a Business to Business (B2B) Fair in Leskovac.
The B2B gathered 120 companies from Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria and other countries from the region to promote business activities, products and services, exchange ideas, establish new business contacts, and link potential business partners.
“Through the Private Sector Development Project, implemented in partnership with the Development Agency of Serbia, USAID helps to strengthen private sector firms in 12 municipalities in South and Southwest Serbia. The Project has awarded 60 grants to youth and women-owned small and medium sized enterprises totaling more than $350,000 USD. Additionally, the Project creates linkages between businesses in targeted regions, expands markets, increases opportunities for sales and exports, and helps create jobs,” said Ambassador Kyle Scott.
The event was organized in cooperation with Regional Development Agencies from the Jablanica and Pčinja Districts, and Sandzak, Zlatibor and the Regional Agencies for Spatial Planning and Economic Development from the Raška and Moravica Districts.
