The proposed on-budget support to the Ministry of Communications, Information and Technology (MoCIT) will be used to establish the E-Government Resource Center that will be located on the premises of MoCIT but will serve as a center of excellence in E-Government for the entire country. EGRC will be the central source of technical expertise and skills, advice and guidance for the development and deployment of E-Government in the agencies and departments of the Afghan government.  This is a National Priority Program for GIRoA.
